PROBLEM: Fast fashion contributes to significant environmental waste through overproduction, with many items never being sold or worn.
SOLUTION: Hype is a service designed to help fashion brands make more sustainable production decisions by directly involving their customers. The service integrates seamlessly into brand websites and features:
Interactive Poll Game: A fun, engaging tool for customers to vote on their favorite designs, giving brands real-time insights into consumer preferences.
Pre-Order Platform: An exclusive pre-order system where customers can purchase items before production begins, offering discounts for participation and creating a sense of exclusivity.
IMPACT: By using Hype, brands can reduce overproduction, meet actual demand, and foster a more sustainable approach to clothing manufacturing—all while deepening their connection with customers.
This project combines human-centered design with sustainability, showcasing my skills in UX design, gamification, and systems thinking to tackle a real-world problem in the fashion industry.
